The biggest buyin tournament of the 2009 Borgata Poker Open aside from the Main Event is just about to start. The $1,500 + $125 No Limit Hold'em Event #16 gives players 15,000 in chips and 60 minute levels.
Players we've seen taking their seats include Gene Castro, Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler, Kenna James and Bill Gazes making his first appearance this series. We won't have a feel for exactly how many players are in the field today until everyone has taken their seats, but we do have 19 tables manned with players, chips and dealers. Players have the first two levels plus the break to register for the event.
