While walking around the floor, Eric "Clownfish" Doerr pulled me aside to throw down the guantlet. Doerr was the Borgata Deep Stack runner up here in August and said "You let these guys know this is the Borgata, this is the East Coast. We aren't going to let any West Coast punks or internet kids pull off any crazy (redacted) with us!". Doerr was actually having a good laugh with fellow tablemates Manny Patel and Jason Warriner.

They all took turns telling the story of Doerr picking on Patel's blinds every rotation. Doerr claims he had big hands for each and every instance until Patel decided to re-pop him after folding his big blind for a half dozen times. Patel called the big re-raise holding AQ, finding an Ace on the flop and an Ace on the River. Patel went all the way to the river with him holding KK. Warriner completes the story by saying, "And Manny paid him off!"
