If Mike Castaldo wants to make a big run in the Championship Event, he's going to have to use his comeback skills to duplicate his feat in the $1,500 tournament. In that tournament he battled back from holding a single 5,000 chip to finish 9th. Earlier today he found himself sitting with just 6,100 after two big hands. In back-to-back hands he picked up pocket aces, both times they went down in crackling flames. First to KJ that outflopped his rockets, the second time QQ rivered the set. True to form he has bounced back and now sitting close to the starting stack of 25,000.
