EVENT #6 - HOOD, 4TH

4th, Brad Hood - $25,480

Despite hailing from the City of Champions, Brad Hood's doesn't add to Pittsburgh's plethora of titles with an Event #6 (1k) title. "I'm a little frustrated," says Hood. "I've made a lot of final tables, but always seem to finish second, through fifth all the time. It's good, but you want first."

Hood pushes his final 700k all-in with (A 6), but doesn't catch up to Bob Hwang's pocket sevens and is on the rail in 4th place.

With three players remaining, the chips are moving around the table.

Wayne Merone's been leaking oil the last 45 minutes. He gives 500k chips to Alex Santiago, who makes a good read on the river by calling a reraise of 170k with a board of [K K 10] [2] [6] and two hearts. Merone shows a busted flush draw and Santiago rakes the pot with pocket queens.

Merone then doubled up Hwang.

Final Three Chip Counts

Merone - 500k
Hwang - 1.3 million
Santiago - 2.5 million

Level 23 continues (20k/40k/4k ante).
