It's rare when you run into or witness one of the truly bad beats. Ryan Eriquezzo ran into one of the more brutal hands you will see.
He raised preflop and the only caller was David Shrewsbury to his immediately left. The flop came up Jh 3h 7h. Eriquezzo bet out and Shrewsbury ended up with all his chips in the middle. When they both tables their cards, Eriquezzo was a huge 97 - 3 favorite to win the hand, eliminate Shrewsbury and move way up the board. Eriquezzo flopped the flush with Qh 6h versus the top pair of Shrewsbury with Ks Jc.
Turn 3d
River 3c
Runner runner boat for the improbably win.
Ryan only had a few chips following that hand and was eliminated on the next hand. He takes home $4,441 for 15th but he won't forget that hand for a long time.
