Our first day of the 2009 Borgata Poker Open is in the books. Players remaining in Event #1 are now counting and bagging chips. 70 players will return tomorrow at 2pm to play down to our first champion of the series. As you would expect, the bustouts took off fast and furious immediately after the bubble as short stacks tried to build up or go home. No one wants to come back tomorrow with 3 big blinds. We have some monster stacks and some big names remaining.
The following players finished in the money but will not return. We will be back later this evening/morning with official chip counts starting Day 2.
