We begin Level 14 very close to double digit players remaining. 107 start the level with an average stack around 80,000. Several of the big names we've been following throughout the day remain and continue to build up their stacks. Matt Stout, Mike Kalfa, Alvin Delgado, Will Failla and Roz Quarto are working the bubble.
From our perch it appeared that either Delgado or The Thrill were knocked out as both jumped out of their seats. A quick run over showed one of those suck REsuck hands that make people love this game. After a raise and call preflop, the board ran out 9-high with two spades. That's when all the money went in the middle.
One player was sitting very pretty when his pocket 9's flopped the pretty set and his opponents tens were looking in bad shape. That was right up until the turn and river came out with two other spades and Mr. Pocket Tens scooped with his four flush.
Bubble time is getting closer.
