EVENT #1 WE HAVE A WINNER

We have our first champion of the 2009 Borgata Poker Open. James Stenella picked his spots to move his way through the final 70 players to take home the trophy and the cash. The PPI member was never the chip leader until we we near the very end but was always within striking distance and picked his spots.

In the end he beat out the other 3 players left in the field for the hardware. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. You can find our post earlier in the day outlining his pledge to donate a portion of his tournament winnings to Nephcure.

We'll be back later with an interview after we've had a chance to sit down for an interview.

Salah Levy, Eric Rockwell, and Marcus Nguyen were our runners up for the event. They will take home a nice addition to their bankroll.
