EVENT #1 HOME TOWN KNOCKOUT

Chris Lyon started the day with the chip lead but gave a little bit back in the first level with some short stack double ups including his friend Jason Moreno. He was only down for a little while as he put a hurt back on him.

Lyon raised to 40k UTG and it folded around to Moreno in SB who shoved in over the top. Moreno tabled AA to Lyon's QQ, with a table mate telling him he mucked a weak queen preflop. He didn't have long to sweat because the case queen came out on the flop. They shook hands and Moreno took off for the cage.

Lyon has built his stack back up and sitting with around 600,000.
