EVENT #12 UPDATE

The unofficial number for Event #12 is set at 483. Spattered among the field are a pile of tourney pro's from all over. Considering it's a $350 buy-in it was thought that the day would start off pretty quickly.

Vinny Pahuja proved us right on the first hand of the day. From the cut off he opened bet and was flatted by both the small blind and Taylor Shur in the big blind.. The flop came [6h 3s 3d]. Vinny c-bet the flop and was flatted by Shur. The turn came [Ad] and Vinny bet again, only this time Shur check raised.

The river brought a [5d] to give Vinny what he thought was the hidden 3rd nut flush and this time he checked. Shur bet $2200 and Vinny shoved his remaining stack. Shur insta called and opened up with 2 sixes giving him the flopped boat. Shur sits on about 27k.

John "Kojack" Kosak is playing well today and thinks he has a chance. He sits on just over 17k. "I'm feelin' it today."

Joey Brooks is scrapping along sitting with 14k, as is Gordan Eng, sitting with just over the starting stack. Pete Herold is having a nice day doubling up on his first hand with Aces against his opponents Kings and has just over 31k.

I haven't seen too many stacks over 30k so we'll put Pete among the chip leaders for now. It's a busy day here in the tournament room with the 6 max grinding down to a winner, the limit tournament playing to a winner and the $1000 H.O.S.E. event plodding along.

We'll have all the updates as they come.
