The floor staff is ready and the chip bags are being unpacked as the players for Events #9 and #10 prepare their final journey to our next two trophies. Today will see winners crowned in the $500 + $60 No Limit Hold'em 6-handed and the $350 + $50 Limit Hold'em tournaments.
The 6-handed tournament will begin with the remaining 18 players in Level 14 with blinds at 2,000-4,000 and 400 ante. David Jones is your leader going into Day 2 with just under 400,000 chips and Mike Borchetta is the short stack. Average chip stack is around 145,000.
The Limit tournament action came a grinding halt late in the evening with the players still 9 from the money. 27 return with the top 18 players getting paid. Hung Nguyen and Marc Lunenfeld lead the field and Charles Threadgould (6,000 in chips) has his work cut out for him. They will also start in Level 14 at the 2,000-4,000 limit (1,000-2,000 blinds). Average chip stack is around 37,000.
