Jason Dewitt made it to day 2 here at the Championship Event with more than $67k in chips after playing day 1a.
Yesterday he played in the WCOOP ($5k entry, online) main event and is currently 1st in chips with T925,921 with play set to resume at 5pm today. With 178 players left out of the 2144 that started, he has a very good opportunity to go really deep. With First place paying $1.7mil and second paying $1.3mil it's an opportunity he wants to take full advantage of.
"I'm not thinking about it right now. I'm going to focus here now and see what I can do. I love the tournaments here, and it's why I am playing. With the opportunity in the online event, I certainly will have some decisions to make."
We'll keep an eye on his progress throughout the day.
