SAY CHEESE

WPT BORGATA POKER OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

Former Champ Can't Milk More Chips

One of the feel good stories is how Roy Winston, the 2007 Poker Open Championship, got into this year's Championship Event, unfortunately it's a short run.

"The Oracle" won his seat by taking down the Put a Bad Beat on Hunger tournament at Borgata in August, but is on the rail since the last break.

The qualifying event was sponsored by the Cabot Creamery Cooperative which made a $20,000 donation to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Southern Branch.

"They're definitely pulling for me," said Winston while playing during his up and down Day 2. Winston donated a portion of his winnings to the food bank and was planning to do the same if he cashed this week.

Level 14 (1k/2k/200 ante) continues.
