Mikey "Deisel, Guns, Unbelievable, Bro" Dentale started the day with just over $120k in chips. If you know him, you'll understand his "unbelievable" nickname. Unbelievable because of his propensity to run super hot or super ridiculous.
Within 5 hands Mike was down to less than half his starting stack when he suffered 3 coolers. Once when his Jacks were beaten by 4's who setted up on the flop. Second, his straight was run down by a triple board paired river to a small pocket pair, and finally his set was flushed away on the turn.
His last hand saw this action...
With three to a flop of [As 3s 7s], Mike checked. The second to act made it 6k, and the third re raised to 12k. Mike made the call.
The turn came a [Qh]. Dentale shoved and second to act insta mucked. However, his third opponent made the snap call and showed two red Aces.
Mike was drawing to a non paried spade, and when the [3c] hit the river, Mike was out. On a side not, the second to act player banged the table rather hard when the three fell and everyone knew immediately that he had mucked a flopped set of three's and missed his quads on the river.
Dentale flew out of the room rather miffed at a lost opportunity. I think someone said they saw him run to the registration desk to get into the $400 deep stack that started about an hour ago.
