6th, Steve Fiorentini - $18,200

Steve Fiorentini (Winchester, MA) is crippled by Barry Jefferson and finished off by Alex Santiago. Firoentini (K K) puts Jefferson (A 9 suited) all-in for 300k, but falls behind when an ace flops.

"I had a real chance to get to a million (in chips)," says Fiorentini, who collects $18,200 for finishing 6th. "Instead I'm last in chips."

A few hands later, Fiorentini goes all-in for his last 229k and is eliminated when his (A9) doesn't catch up to Santiago's (A 10). "No regrets. I was aggressive when I needed to be," he says. "I'm looking forward to the Main Event and I'll be back for the heads-up."
