The players have gone through their dinner break and made it through Level 9 still grinding away with the monster chip stacks in search of the magic hand to propel them to the top of the leaderboard. At this point we cannot find any player or stack that is far away the top of the heap. The field has only been reduced to approximately 470 and it's still near impossible to update on the average players. The pace is moving along nicely but I suspect after the next couple hundred bustouts things will grind to a crawl. The blinds in relation to the stacks, plus the approaching money bubble will make players a little more cautious with those speculative hands.
The most interesting table to observe over the last few levels has Will "The Thrill" Failla in the 4 seat next to Mike Sica in the 5. Combined they are carrying the conversation and play to the rest of the table. At times you will see a new dealer at the table shake their head until the talking settles into a normal pattern.
Level 10 brings the blinds up to 600-1200 with 200 ante. Average chip stack is around 50,000.
