As the blinds climb a lot of the action in the 1k is happening preflop. William Hill, who starts the day 45th out of 46 players shoves all-in pre with (K J) and runs into Wayne Merone's (AK).

Hill gets no help and is out in 9th place, collecting $7,280. "I'm happy with how I finished considering I was so short," he says. This is Hill's second cash in the Poker Open after finishing 11th in Event #1.
