Hand for hand play is virtually nonexistent, as the bubble breaks with two simultaneous bustouts, knocking the Ladies field from 29 to 27. Kate Haindl (Havertown, PA) is officially credited with eliminating the 28th player, getting the remaining players into the money.
Haindl is in the big blind with (7 4 suited) and calls a preflop raise. Three players see a flop, including the bubble girl, and Haindl hits the 7. She moves all-in to isolate and takes down the winner. Haindl is still below average with 85k
"I was getting short and there was a lot of money in the pot," says Haindl, "that's why I called."
Players heading to the rail include Lacey Jones, who shoves her last 38k all-in with (99), only to run into the big blind's (AA).
"This sucks," she says while walking to collect her $525. A full list of money winners will be posted Sunday morning.
Play is now on Level 17 (5k/10k/1k ante). The average stack is 100k.
